This is a tilt limiter for Herman Miller Aeron chairs- Generation 1 only.  Cable is included and attached.  If the back of your Aeron chair no longer locks, or tilts forward or backward, this Aeron tilt limiter replacement may help.  Our Aeron tilt limiter gear helps your chair adjust to an upright position.  Herman Miller changed the design on the tilt sector gear a few times.  Please look carefully at the pictures of this part to see if it looks the same as the one you are trying to replace.
